The ALGARVE BIKE CHALLENGE is a mountain bike stage race and its first edition toke place from 8th to 10th of March 2013 wich I’m proudly the Race Chief Director.
The real challenge of this stage race is not only about to win, but the knowledge, living the mtb spirit, overcome own limits and being in close touch with Nature.
The development of this Event is about the increasing demand and search for a type of Race who suits the best of two worlds: teams of two riders and a course guided by a GPS track.
The first edition of ABC was followed by unusual cold, windy and rainy weather, although the brilliant work form the Organizers make this Challenge an Epic Race!
Professional MTB Team Matt-Internacional / Extremadura formed by Alejandro De La Pena and Pedro Romero won the ABC2013.
